Purpose The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) is seeking qualifications from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractors, to provide Traffic and Transportation Annual Construction Rehabilitation and Implementation Services on an as needed basis in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request of Qualifications (RFQ). Work will commonly be performed on City roadways, right-of-ways, residential streets, as well as County and State roads. These services are described in greater detail in Section 3 - Scope of Services. Those firms who are interested in submitting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) in response to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) shall comply with Section IV- Submittal Requirements. This is a Pre-qualification solicitation, no pricing is required at this time. The goal of the City is to award to more than one qualified Contractor through this RFQ. The successful proposers of this RFQ will enter into a professional contract with the City which binds Contractor to bid on various related projects throughout the contract term. The lowest responsive and responsible Bidder(s) who meets the Citys needs, including but not limited to, time and budget constraints will be awarded the particular projects Task Order / Purchase Order. The City uses INFOR, an online strategic sourcing platform to administer the competitive solicitation process, including but not limited to soliciting proposals, issuing addenda, posting results and issuing notification of an intended decision. There is no charge to register and download the RFQ from the online strategic sourcing platform . Proposers are strongly encouraged to read the various supplier tutorials available in the City's online strategic sourcing platform well in advance of their intention to submit a response to ensure familiarity with the use of the City's online strategic sourcing platform. There is no charge to proposers to register and participate in the solicitation process, nor will any fees be charged to the awarded proposer. It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to ensure that its proposal is submitted electronically through the City's online strategic sourcing platform no later than the time and date specified in this solicitation.
