Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in North Kansas City, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Three (3) bids were received. Bid Summary Tab: Contractor Bid Amount Wil-Pav, Inc. $338,706 Phillips Paving $359,667 Calvert’s Paving $435,790 The lowest and best bid for this work is Wil-Pav, Inc. for $338,706.00 This project was planned and is within the 2023/2024 maintenance budget. A portion of this project will be paid out of the 2024/2025 maintenance budget. This contract was reviewed by General Counsel. Administrative Recommendation: Based on the evaluation of the bids, it is recommended that the BOE approve and enter into a contract with Wil-Pav, Inc. for $338,706.00 for the performance of this project. Pavement repairs at Bell Prairie Elementary, Gateway6th Grade Center and Golden Oaks Educational Center. The NKCSD Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and reserve the right to be the sole judge of what it considers the lowest responsible bid. All bids are contingent upon available funding. The NKCSD is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
