Renovation of a municipal facility in Lafayette, Alabama. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
**As of April 17, 2024 the project is abandoned . No plans to rebid or start a new project. ** PERFORMANCE BOND ANDLABOR AND MATERIAL PAYMENT BOND: If the construction contract award amount exceeds$100,000.00, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond will be required and will be issued with the award of contract. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. PROJECT NAME AND LOCATION: City of Lafayette Alterations To 54 Lafayette Street North Lafayette, Alabama 36862 a. Door hardware to be ADA compliant, similar finish to existing. Schlage or equal. b. PVC pipe is approved for plumbing work. c. Sheetrock work to be Level 4 finish. PLANS a. Rough grade area on either side of new sidewalk at front as required. Provide topsoil to bring to finish grade, ready for landscaping by Owner. b. Remove existing shrubs at the intersection of the front sidewalks. Rough grade as required. Provide topsoil to finish grade, ready for landscaping by Owner. c. All existing ceiling tiles to be removed and replaced. d. Existing ceiling grid to remain except in areas of new work as indicated on the plans. e. All existing sheetrock to be painted. All new sheetrock to primed and painted. All existing metal frames to be painted. All new metal frames to be primed and painted. New doors to match existing doors. All painted trim to be painted. f. GC to provide data receptacle boxes in walls as shown on the plans with 3/4" metal conduit and pull string to above the finished ceiling. Data jacks and cabling by Owner. g. All existing light fixtures in the ceiling grid to be removed and replaced with LED flat panel light fixtures equal to Lithonia Lighting CPX 2X4 ALO8 SWW7 M2. h. Entire building to receive new flooring. See finish schedule on sheet A1.1. Remove all lights in the ceiling grid, all devices attached to the ceiling tiles, and remove all ceiling tiles. Remove all rubber base and carpet. Remove sloped roofing and framing. remove exterior storefront glass and framing. remove Brick flooring. remove concrete slab. interior storefront glass and framing to remain Remove door and frame. remove service counter and casework. 6 prep wall for new door. Remove plumbing fixtures in c102, 125, and 126. remove ceiling grid in c102, 123, 124, 125, & 126. 9 dashed line indicates walls to be removed Remove ceiling grid as required for installation of new walls. 11 prep wall for new window. Existing electrical panel. remove counter and cabinet. 14 existing counter and teller line equipment to remain. 15 remove existing brick flooring and prep for carpet. Remove window blinds. 17 remove base. remove tile flooring. n 18 remove concrete as required for new work.
