Site work and paving for a civil project in Ozark, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work to be performed under this Contract shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment and incidentals and performing all work required to construct complete in place and ready to operate the improvements shown in the Contract Documents. These improvements include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. The work to be performed under this Contract generally consists of restraining existing water main using bell restraint harnesses, lowering existing water main, installing concrete protection slab above existing water main and sanitary sewer, relocating fire hydrants and water meters, pavement patching, and permanent stabilization. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found Online. Bidding Documents may be obtained Online. Prospective Bidders are urged to register online as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or online in either electronic or paper format. The Online Platform will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through online. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained online. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Bidding Documents also may be examined at City Hall located at 275 N. Union Ave., Ozark, AL 36303, on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will receive a refund less the cost of printing, reproduction, handling, and distribution for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. No Bidding Documents will be issued within 5 business days of the Bid Opening. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, and must show evidence of license before bidding or Bid will not be received or considered by the Owner. The Bidder shall show evidence by including its current license number during registration and clearly displaying on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the Bid is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the Owner will thereby be promoted. The Owner further reserves the right to negotiate price and time with the low bidder. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Printed copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office by paying a deposit of $50.00 for each set plus shipping as applicable.
