The purpose of this BEST VALUE BID is to secure a contractor to remove the existing roof and replace with a 30 year architectural shingle roof system at the Annex Building at 100 Matheson Street, Bennettsville, SC 29512 Question Deadline 02/01/2024 Any questions or further clarifications regarding this BVB must be submitted by email to Angela, 843-456-7629 phone, aoneal@marlboro.k12.sc.us Please contact Mr. Ashely Bowen, Director of Maintenance at 843-862-4326 or Herbert McNeil at 843-862-1145. Scope of Work: The selected contractor will: 1 Remove the existing shingle roof and two flat roof areas down to the deck and dispose of in a legal manner. 2 Furnish and install a 30-year certainteed Landmark 30-year architectural shingle roof system per manufacturers specifications. 3 New shingle roof to be installed over a synthetic felt per manufacturers specifications. 4 Install new pipe flashing, drip edge, chimney flashings, wall flashing, ridge vent and exhaust vents. 5 Remove the two flat roof areas down to the deck and dispose of 3 plies hot asphalt bur system 6 Install new mechanically attached R-20 roof insulation and a mechanically attached 60 MIL TPO roof system on each flat roof area per manufacturers specifications. 7 Furnish disposal fees and work permits. 8 Furnish a 5-year workmanship warranty and a 30-year shingle roof manufacturers warranty.
