The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: o New Playgrounds at South Jones Elementary, West Jones Elementary, Glade Elementary, East Jones Elementary, Moselle Elementary, and North Jones Elementary Schools. The Work shall be conducted in (1) phase. The Owner may award separate contracts for the following: o Furniture, Furnishings, and Equipment. o Security, Surveillance, and Access Control System Installation / Modification. o Audio/Visual and Classroom Instructional Technology systems. Note requirements for Contractor's Access to Site and Use of Premises. Note requirements for Coordination with Occupants (Owner will occupy the premises during entire construction period, with the exception of areas under construction). It was further noted that the last day for teachers is May 30, 2024 and teachers return on August 1, 2024 (with students returning from the summer on August 5, 2024). Note Work Restrictions requirements: o On-Site Work Hours: No designated limits, other than coordination with the Owner as noted herein. o Existing Utility Interruptions: Do not interrupt utilities serving facilities occupied by Owner or others unless permitted under the following conditions and then only after providing temporary utility services according to requirements indicated: o Notify Owner not less than two days in advance of proposed utility interruptions. o Obtain Owner's written permission before proceeding with utility interruptions. o Noise, Vibration, and Odors: Coordinate operations that may result in high levels of noise and vibration, odors, or other disruption to Owner occupancy with Owner: o Notify Owner not less than two days in advance of proposed utility interruptions. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range for this project is between $600,000 to $700,000.
