Demolition and renovation of a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for the demolition of a water / sewer project.
The work includes Demolishing and replacing existing electromechnical relays with new microprocessor ones, test switches, local/remote switches, wiring, conduit, and other accessories necessary. Relay settings and testing should be provided. The amount of the bid security shall be ten percent (10%) of the bid submitted by the bidder The Contractor s Bond shall be in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price, be issued by a responsible surety approved by the Board, guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and the terms and conditions therein contained. The improvements shall be substantially complete by November 15, 2024 with final completion by December 31, 2024. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in any bid. The Board also reserves the right to accept the bid that it determines to be in the best interest of the Board in accordance with Chapter 26 and Subchapters II and III of Chapter 73A, Code of Iowa.
