Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for site work for a educational facility; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
As of March 14, 2024 project has been canceled. As of this time it is unknown if an when project will rebid. Unionville-Chadds Ford High School Campus Circulation and Parking Improvements All questions should be submitted electronically. Telephone inquiries and paper submissions will not be accepted. Separate Bids will be received for Contract No. 1 - Site Construction and Contract No. 2 - Electrical Construction. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis for Contracts 1 and 2. The Bids must cover all costs for the completion of this project as set forth and illustrated in the Project Plans, Project Manual, and associated documents. The principal items of work to be performed under Contract No. 1 - Site Construction, as more fully described in the Project Plans and Project Manual, are: 1) installation of erosion and sedimentation controls; 2) demolition of existing features, including but not limited to the existing tennis courts, parking areas and access drives, storm drainage features, and trees and shrubs; 3) earthmoving and stabilization; 4) construction of new parking areas, access drives, and sidewalks; 5) construction of a cast-in-place concrete retaining wall; 6) construction of new tennis courts and fencing; 7) installation of storm drainage improvements; 8) installation of traffic control devices, lawn, and landscaping. The principal items of work to be performed under Contract No. 2 - Electrical Construction, as more fully described in the Project Plans and Project Manual, are: 1) site lighting to support new parking lot layout along with circuiting and lighting controls; 2) circuiting and time clock control for 120V receptacles near designated parking spots; and 3) Re-routing of existing feeders that conflict with new storm drainage Bid Results :: Contract No. 1 (Site Construction) :: Iron Eagle Excavating :: $ 5,338,400.0 Contract No. 2 (Electrical Construction) :: JT Electrical LLC :: $ 775,000.0 Project has been cancelled The Owner has decided not to accept the bids received. The project is currently on hold.
