Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Altamont, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work generally consists of constructing 5,700 sqft. of sidewalk, removing and replacing approximately 1,400 linear feet of curb and gutter along with ADA ramp replacements, driveway construction and paving, cross gutter replacement, asphalt patching, retaining wall construction, drainage improvements, and traffic control. The work is primarily located on Shasta Way between Homedale Rd. and Patterson St. in Klamath County. The engineers estimate for this project is $685,000 to $760,000. There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project. all bidders must submit to Klamath County a Contractor's Prequalification Application, even if the contractor is already prequalified with the State of Oregon. All contractors and subcontractors performing work on this project must be licensed with the Construction Contractors Board in accordance with ORS Chapter 701. A surety bond issued by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Oregon, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution as defined in ORS 706.008, cashier's check or certified check made payable to the Klamath County Commissioners in the amount of 10% of the total bid must accompany the sealed bid. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of the bid will be required of the successful bidder. Klamath County will reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may for good cause, reject any or all bids upon a finding of Klamath County it is in the public interest to do so.
