The RM of Fillmore No. 96 is accepting tenders on the following: 1. Supply, haul and stockpile approximately 20,000 Cubic Yards of 7/8" crushed gravel; 2. To be hauled and stockpiled at the pit located on the LSD 4 Sec 2-11-11-2. The Municipality reserves the right to refuse to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest or any tender may not necessarily be awarded. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any tender may be rejected that is incomplete, obscure or irregular. The Municipality reserves the right to accept any tender in which it may consider to be in the best interest of the municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before execution of the contract by all parties without any liability against the Municipality. Tenders shall be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of the tender opening. All tenders will be opened and given fair consideration by Council. Tenders shall be adjudicated based on prior experiences; references may be required. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a contract with the municipality The contractor will have ten (10) days to return the executed contract. In the event that the contractor refuses or neglects to sign and return the contract in the specified time, the municipality reserves the right to cancel the tender and award it to the next considered bidder. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance. The bid price will be full compensation of all incurred costs such as mobilization, supervision, labour, permits, materials, equipment, tools and any other item necessary to execute the agreement. The contractor will be required to comply with the timeline as outlined in the agreement. Project delays shall be communicated with the RM as soon as they are identified. The RM reserves the right to cancel or terminate the agreement in the event of unreasonable delays.
