This competition is for the spreading of gravel from the RM stockpile to the various roads in the RM. Spreading of the gravel from the stockpile located at LSD 4 Sec 2-11-11-2 to the roads located in the RM of Fillmore. The stockpile is fairly centralized within the municipality. Tender shall include the following information: o Contractor Legal Name and Address o Price per cubic yard delivered from our pit to destinations throughout the municipality. o This may be quoted as by the loaded yard mile or a flat rate to anywhere in the municipality. o The contractor must be able to provide spot gravelling for road repairs/culvert installations when needed. o Date the project will start and completion date. All tenders will be opened and given fair consideration by Council. The successful bidder shall be required to enter into a contract with the municipality. The contractor will have ten (10) days to return the executed contract. In the event that the contractor refuses or neglects to sign and return the contract in the specified time, the municipality reserves the right to cancel the tender and award it to the next considered bidder. The successful bidder shall be required to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance. The Municipality reserves the right: o to refuse to accept any or all tenders; o to refuse to accept or to accept a tender based on passed experience; o the lowest tender not necessarily accepted; and o to accept any tender in which it may consider to be in the best interest of the municipality. Tenders shall be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of the tender opening. Tenders shall be adjudicated based on prior experiences; references may be required.
