The RM of Turtle River No. 469 is accepting tenders on a gravel crush of approximately 100,000 cubic yards of road gravel at NE-23-49-19w3 Pit is located at the NE-23-49-19W3 100,000 cubic yards of 3/4" road gravel (including minimum of 50% elimination/tailings) Additional elimination/tailings over 50% will be paid at the applicable unit price Random samples may be taken from the feed belt and/or stockpile and submitted for testing The RM may instruct the Contractor to increase the elimination/tailings above 50% based on testing results A tolerance of 3% in the percent by weight passing the 22.4mm sieve will be permitted providing 100% of the oversize passes the 31.5mm sieve. o Piles in excess of this tolerance will be required to be re-screened Final payment will be based on the actual surveyed stockpiles. No allowance will be given for gravel compaction. The R.M. of Turtle River is responsible for all stripping/overburden removal
