The scope of the project is to establish a full range of operations within Cell 8 by conducting phased improvement activities within FPL's easements. The project will raise and expand the FPL access roads/pads to satisfy FPL's 1-foot clearance requirements above the Cell 8 maximum design elevation of 11.54ft North American Vertical Datum (NAVD 88). The Stormwater Treatment Area 2 (STA-2) Project Site is located in Palm Beach County, approximately 35 miles south-west of West Palm Beach, Florida. The project is bordered to the north by the STA-2 Seepage Canal, to the east by Water Conservation Area 2A (WCA-2A) and to the west by the L-18 canal, State Road 27, and STA-3/4. Access to the Site is through District Gate #G-L-18-02.00E (26.4281764, -80.6097316) on State Road 27, approximately 18 miles south of the intersection with State Road 80.
