A general description of the work to be done under these contract documents is as follows: Concrete structural repairs at aeration basins, chlorine contact basins, fine screen channels, and final clarifiers Replacement of mechanical components for two final clarifiers Replacement of final clarifier drain valves Removal of unused aeration basin gates Removal and replacement of storefront doors and windows on the Administration Building Concrete structural repairs and modifications of PEF/RAS splitter structure gates. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, size WWTF Repairs and Improvements or Bid Bond on the form included in the Bidding Documents or issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs. Bids will be received only from companies that are pre-qualified by the District's Engineering Department for: Building Construction or Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
