Renovation of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Scope of Work including but not limited to: The District is using a California Multiple Award Schedule to pre purchase the HVAC units as shown on the Mechanical schedule. Awarded contractor to provide storage location for units until replacement is slated for summer break. Contractor to deliver the units to the corresponding sites upon installation. Contract to remove existing units and install new units per the plans and specifications. Overall coordination of the Project will be the responsibility of the District Representative. The governing board of the District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularity in any proposals received. At the request and expense of the successful Bidder, eligible securities shall be accepted in lieu of retention payments to insure performance under the Contract, pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 22300. Refer to Exhibit H and General Conditions Section 00 72 00, Article 12, Section 12.05. Said securities shal be deposited prior to the submission of the successful Bidder's first progress payment application. The District participates in a l available rebate programs. The successful Bidder agrees to notify the District of any available rebate of which the successful Bidder is aware, and to provide the District with invoices and all other documentation necessary to claim any available rebate. The District will apply for available rebates, and the rebates wil be paid directly to the District, not the successful Bidder. The successful Bidder shal have at least one supervising technician on call in the event that the existing fire alarm, security clocks, intercom, telephone and data systems are damaged during the course of construction or the Contract requires relocation of existing devices. The supervising technician is required to be on Site during all aspects of repair, modifications and testing. For fire alarm modifications and repairs the supervising technician is required to have at a minimum NICET LEVEL 2 Certification or equal. The District may consider optional Underwriters Laboratories Certification, factory training or contractor demonstrated equal experience/training with prior approval. The supervising technician must also have a minimum 5 years installation experience. . Bidders questions shall be submitted no later than February 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
