Site work for a water / sewer project in Summerland, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The District requires an experienced dock/pier contractor to construct a new pier at Gordon Beggs Rotary Beach, 14877 Lakeshore Dr S, Summerland, BC V0H 1Z1. The new pier shall be designed and constructed to match the Original Pier, except that the new pier shall be supported by 51 steel pilings instead of 57 wood pilings with three concrete pillar supports, consistent with the initial concept design prepared by Shoreline Pile Driving & Wharf Construction Ltd. and submitted to the Province for approval as part of the Section 11 application. The Section 11 application and initial concept design are both included as attachments as part of the RFQ, Appendix C. As part of the Deliverables, the Contractor shall provide a detailed design based on the initial concept design. Documents can be obtained from www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
