Renovation of an educational facility in Vernon Hills, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Townline Elementary School - Fire Alarm System and Intercom and Clock System Upgrades A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the Amount of 10% of the Bid is to Accompany the Proposal. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance Within Ten (10) Days of the Award of the Contract. All Performance and Payment Bonds Will Be in Accordance With the Requirements Stated in the Aia 232 General Conditions. Payment of Prevailing Wages Are Required for This Project. Bids Must Be Submitted in Duplicate in a Sealed Envelope and Labeled "Hawthorn School District 73 - Townline Elementary School - Fire Alarm System and Intercom and Clock System Upgrades", the Date and Time of the Bid Opening, the Contractor's Name and Address, and Their Trade Package. All Contractors Shall Use the Bid Day Label Provided With Their Bid Form. The Meeting is Not Mandatory, but It is Strongly Encouraged That All Bidders Attend This Meeting to Fully Understand the Project Requirements. Bidders Failing to Demonstrate a Thorough Understanding of the Project and the Existing Conditions at the Scope Review May Be Rejected. Scope of Work the Project Includes Fire Alarm and Intercom and Clock System Upgrades Throughout Townline Elementary School. This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Hawthorn School District 73 Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Proposals or Waive Any Bid Irregularities.
