The Chelmsford Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites written quotes from Contractors for Plumbing Maintenance and Repairs Service Contract for the Chelmsford Housing Authority in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents herein. The estimated value of this Contract is $ 30,000 annually with the option to renew for two (2) additional one-year periods. All bids are subject to applicable bidding laws including, but not limited to M.G.L. c.149 44A - H, M.G.L. c.30 and applicable federal procurement laws. To the extent there are inconsistencies between state and federal procurement laws, the more stringent standard will be followed for purposes of this Request for Quotes. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the value of the total bid. Bid deposit shall be in the form of a bid bond issued by a responsible bank or trust company. Said deposit is to be the property of the Chelmsford Housing Authority, if the bidder fails to execute the contract after he has been officially notified that the contract has been awarded to him. All questions and request for interpretation must be received no later than five calendar days before the bid deadline and must be submitted in writing to ssmith@chelmsfordha.com Requests for interpretations may be responded to via website addendum, as determined by the Owner.
