Paving (Mill and Overlay) The Town of Chelmsford, Massachusetts solicits sealed bids for the following: Paving (Mill and Overlay) All bidders must be prequalified with MassDot for Pavement - Surfacing in the amount of $1,892,325.00. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid. This may be a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Town of Chelmsford. The Town of Chelmsford reserves the right to waive any informality and/or to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. Any questions regarding this Bid should be addressed to Anthony Reppucci by email: areppucci@chelmsfordma.gov by March 1st, 2024,responses to questions will be posted on the website: chelmsfordma.gov/112/Request-for-Bids as an Addenda no later than March 4th, 2024. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the town website periodically for any additional addenda. The time to complete work after issuance of Notice to Proceed shall be no later than 180 days from Notice to Proceed date. Bid Opening March 7th, 2024 Commencement of Work No Later Than April 15th, 2024 Completion of Work No Later Than September 12th, 2024 Liquidated Damages Starting October 12th, 2024
