The Town of Chelmsford DPW is requesting bids from qualified Contractors. The work under this contract will include all equipment, labor, material, supplies, etc. necessary to furnish the work described in this contract. This work shall consist of the placement of miscellaneous asphalt for the DPW, at the direction of the DPW Director or her authorized representative. This work will require working with multiple departments and representatives from the Town. Work shall include all materials, labor, and equipment to adjust around catch basins, drainage structures, driveway aprons, speed bumps, culvert repairs, spot sidewalks, trench inlays and other miscellaneous work for the DPW for a time of March 1, 2024 - January 31, 2025. All bids must conform to M.G.L. c. 30, . 39M. Quantities shown on bid sheets are approximate only and will be used for comparison of bids and to set amount of bid deposit. As a minimum, all work shall be performed in compliance with MassDOT-Highway Division Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges, 1988 as amended.
