Operation and maintenance services for our water and wastewater systems during an annual basis. The County's water system includes two (2) 500 GPM groundwater wells in the Nesmith Community and one (1) elevated storage tank, two (2) 1000 GPM groundwater wells in the Salters Community and two (2) elevated storage tanks, and one (1) 375 GPM groundwater well and one (1) elevated storage tank in the Mouzon Community, along with associated a water distribution system that currently serves 3200 customers with the potential to serve over 7000 customers. Required operation and maintenance services include but not limited to: Daily checks of groundwater wells and storage tanks Water sample collection and lab analysis to meet SCDHEC and EPA requirements Maintaining cross connection control program Maintaining leak detection, fire hydrant, valve, and storage tank maintenance programs Read all water meters monthly and perform cut-on/cut-off services Installing new taps and meters Daily checks of WWTP Daily checks of wastewater lift station Wastewater sample collection and lab analysis WWTP DMR preparation Maintaining pretreatment program Maintaining all inventory Maintain all other SCDHEC and EPA required records Perform all minor repairs necessary for system operation Bid shall include all cost to perform required work for one year from the date of contract. Bid shall include hourly rates for operators during normal business hours (8AM - 5PM, Monday - Friday) and hourly rates for operators after normal business hours. Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, transportation, and equipment necessary to perform work. WCWSA shall furnish all parts (motors, pumps, pipe, valves, hydrants, fittings, meters, etc.) necessary for installation or repair. Contractor must meet all SCLLR licensing requirements for water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection, and wastewater treatment. Contractor must also maintain all OSHA training and certification requirements. Contractor shall provide 24 hour/7 day a week service, including holidays and weekends.
