Written quotations must be e-mailed, on or before the above date and time, to: Michael Johnson, BCCS 286 Director of Operations mjohnson2@bccs286.org Deadline for Questions February 1, 2024 at 5:00 PM Overview: Brooklyn Center Community Schools (District), in partnership with Trust for Public Land (TPL), is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors for a prairie restoration and rain garden project at Brooklyn Center Elementary (1500 59th Ave N, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430). This project is part of a larger initiative to transform the schoolyard into a Community Schoolyard(R) or an outdoor school space reimagined to address health, equity, and climate issues. Approximately 21,460 square feet of grass fields are to be restored to native prairie, 6,150 square feet converted into a rain garden, and 8,300 square feet planted as a microforest. These are estimates. Interested contractors may want to make their own estimates prior to submittal and beginning work. Project location maps and site descriptions included as Exhibits A and B
