Renovation of an educational facility in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Yukon Government (YG) as represented by the Property Management Division's (PMD) Capital Development Branch (CD) is requesting bids from Contractors to complete the removal of existing flooring and base in the corridor and lounge areas in the Yukon University residence building; supply and install new carpet tile and rubber base. Community where work will occur: Whitehorse, Yukon Traditional Territory where work will occur: Kwanlin Dun First Nation and Ta'an Kwach'an Council Documents can be obtained from https://yukon.bidsandtenders.ca/ Description and Scope of Work Contractor is to remove existing flooring and base, make good subfloor, and install new carpet tiles and base in the areas as shown on Appendix B - Floor Plan. Refer to Appendix C - Flooring Standard of Acceptance and Appendix D - Rubber Base Standard of Acceptance for information on required products. Work to be done over the Universitys summer holiday between May 2024 - August 2024. If a Bidder and/or their subcontractors have submitted as a Yukon First Nation Business, but it is found at any time prior to award of the Contract, that they are not duly registered or officially listed as a Yukon First Nation Business under the Yukon First Nation Business Registry, then the Owner reserves the right, at its discretion, to: reject a Bid, exclude a Bidder from a Contract, not apply any applicable evaluation criteria or BVR, score a Bidder a zero for any applicable evaluation criteria, or adjust the evaluation scoring of a Bidder.
