**As of April 12, 2024 project was awarded to System Tech Inc , awarded amount is $168,625.60 Nampa School District No. 131 will accept bids for Network Cabling, including materials and labor as further described in the accompanying specifications. Please return your bid as prescribed in the accompanying specifications. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any technicality No bidder may withdraw its bid after the opening of such bids. The Nampa School District is requesting itemized bids for network cabling for East Valley Middle School located at 4085 E. Greenhurst Rd., Nampa Idaho, and NSD District Offices located at 619 S. Canyon St., Nampa, Idaho. . The scope of work and conditions shall include the following: a Removal and disposal of the old cabling, data jacks and patch panels.The new cable plant shall replace the existing cable plant with specific locations indicated on the building maps, which will be handed out at the building walk through event. Any abandoned locations shall be covered with a blank outlet plate. b. Installation shall include replacing existing data drop locations and installing data drops in new locations. There will also be some drop locations that need to be changed from service mount fixture and cable installed in raceway, to flush mount and cable installed inside the wall. c Vendor shall supply any and all conduits and hardware necessary to install a complete cable plant. d Labeling of the data drop outlets shall be a self-adhesive label fastened to the face plate behind the clear plastic cover. Data drop numbering shall be: i For East Valley Middle School at the jack and the patch panel: 1 MDF/IDF - Room Number - Jack Number ii For The District Offices at the patch panel: 1 Patch panel labeled A through Z and utilize the painted number of the jack on the panel. iii For District Offices at the patch jack: 1 Jack numbered according to position that it is terminated at the patch panel. a Example: Patch panel letter A-Z - Jack number 1-48 e Vendor shall facilitate any new cable pathways if necessary, including core drills; according to cabling standards found in item 7. f All work is to be performed outside of school hours for East Valley Middle School. g Small furniture including desks or other item that is blocking access to a drop location shall be moved by the installer within reason. h Installers must return their work areas to the state in which they found them. i Any trash generated by the installation shall be disposed of by the installers, in a location other than the site trash dumpster. Questions regarding this bid must be submitted and received by Nampa School District NO LATER THAN February 16th, 2024, 5:00 PM local time. Questions received after this date will not be addressed. Questions and the respective answers will be publicly posted on the NSD The proposed time frame for substantial completion is between July 1st, 2024, and July 31st 2024, with a hard completion date of August 10th 2024, with a possible start date during the month of June depending on Summer School building utilization at East Valley Middle School. Any punch list items may be addressed after this date but must also be completed by the start of the school year. Substantial completion for the district offices shall be August 1st, 2024, with a hard completion date of August 10th. Dates are contingent upon the realization of item 14 in this document. No bid may be withdrawn after the time of opening.
