Site work for a water / sewer project in Shiloh, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

**As of March 18,2024 has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The project consists of installing approximately 6,215' of 8" DIP and 83 service stubs and reconnects. Fire hydrants, a Jack & Bore, line stops and other appurtenances as shown on the plans are also included. Contact Person: Barbara Asberry, Senior Buyer asberryb@mcohio.org Bidder shall furnish a Bid Guaranty, in the form prescribed in Sections 153.54, 153.57, and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the form of either: (1) a bond for the full amount of the Bid in the form of the Bid and Performance/Payment Bond included in the Contract Documents in Specification Section 00410; or (2) a certified check, cashiers check, or irrevocable letter of credit in a form satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid. Bid amount shall be the total of all sums bid, including all add alternates, but excluding all deduct alternates. NOTE: AIA Bid Bond forms are not acceptable. Any questions regarding this criterion should be directed to the Montgomery County Purchasing Director at 937-225-6464. Performance/Payment Bond: The successful Bidder, who, as a Bid Guaranty, submits a certified check, cashiers check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the Bid, shall furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in the form of the Performance/Payment Bond included in Specification Section 00512 in the Contract Documents in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. NOTE: AIA Bond forms are not acceptable All Bids shall include the Bid Submittal Documents as defined in the Instructions to Bidders in Specification Section 00100. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as 130063-84, Greenhill And Hornwood Water Main Replacement and must have full name and address of the Bidder on the envelope. The County Commissioners reserve the rights defined in the Instructions to Bidders, including, but not limited to the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any irregularities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County. ENGINEER'S ESTIMATE - $ 2,215,000.00 Question Deadline 02/14/2024 If a Bidder contemplating submitting a Bid for the proposed Project is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Contract Documents, it may submit a written request for an interpretation thereof to the Owner. Requests received fewer than seven (7) days prior to Bid opening may not be answered.
