The Franklin County Fiscal Court is requesting sealed bids for the construction of a 30- foot by 40-foot pole type construction building at the Franklin County Animal Compost facility, 4001 US Hwy 127 North, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. Proposer shall include all the required points in their bid. The building shall be 40-feet wide, 30-feet long with 16-feet tall walls. The contractor shall grade the location of the building prior to construction and backfill once the building is completed. The post construction grade shall be established to provide adequate drainage away from the building. The posts shall be anchored to a perimeter concrete footer meeting the requirements contained within the Kentucky Building Code (current edition). A crush stone base shall be placed within the footprint of the structure. The exterior building covering shall consist of #1 grade metal, black in color, on the roof and along two sides and the rear of the building. The successful bidder is responsible for obtaining any and all permits necessary for completion of the project. No utilities are required to service the building. Warranty - Proposer shall provide a warranty on all workmanship and products including all shipping of defective materials. All warranty information must be included in the bid proposals. Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the apparent Low Bidder to such an extent as may be determined by Owner.
