2024, by 2:00 p.m. to allow time for the Project Manager to respond to the
questions. complete the work within 60 calendar days This project consists ofthe Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to remove the existing membrane roof on the Bathhouse 9 and replace with asphalt shingles and EPDM Membrane Tie-in system located at Assateague State Park, 7307 Stephen Decatur Highway, Berlin, Worcester County, Maryland. 21811
- Remove and properly dispose ofthe existing membrane roofing (approximately
2,000 SF total), from the building. To include any underlayment, flashing, drip
edge, etc., down to bare roofsheathing.
- Inspect roofsheathing, and replace any deteriorated wood as directed by the DNR
Project Manager on a unit price basis. (See Unit Price #1).
- Remove and replace the boot flashing on plumbing vent pipes and all flashing on
skylight domes.
- Provide and install approximately 2,000 SF of architectural shingles, which shall
be installed as a shingle roofing system eligible for a CertainTeed"5 Star
Coverage for a SureStart Plus" Warranty to include Wind Warranty Upgrade (or
an approved equal).
-Provide and install GAF-Everguard TPO 80 Mil, starting from the three (3) foot
overhang to the new asphalt roofsystem with proper overlap tie in system.
- Remove and properly dispose of approximately 80 LF of aluminum wrapping on
the rake board and 120 LF of Aluminum wrapping on the fascia board.
- Inspect rake and fascia board, replace any deteriorated wood as directed by the
DNR Project Manager on a unit price basis. (See Unit Price #2)
- Provide and install new aluminum wrapping on rake and fascia boards.
- Removal and proper disposal of all debris ofstate property. Leave property in
broom swept condition. The project classification for this solicitation is: Under $100,000.00
