Renovation of a residential development in Milton, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
A. The Work of the Contract consists of: 1. Remove and dispose of all roofing materials including shingles, gutters and felt underlayments. Then re-roof the upper and lower roofs of the building, including all felt and ice and water underlayments as shown in the drawings, as well as flashings and gutters. Also provide and install batt insulation in the attic under the new roof. 2. Work either shown on the Drawings or included in the specifications unless specifically indicated not to be done. 3. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 4. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities. B. Execution of Work: Work to be performed in timely and workmanlike fashion. Site must be cleaned up daily with access needed for overnight. C. Warranties/Guaranties: Manufacturer's Product Warranties. Standard General Contractor's 1 year warranty. The MILTON Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites written quotes from Contractors for the: Replacing the roofing at 99 BROOKSTREET Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A (2)(B) & to state prevailing wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. The job site and/or existing building will be available for inspection between 10 A.M. and 11 A.M. on
