Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Project No: 000-000, 18-018 SCOPE OF WORK: The property is owned by Walton County and is 1.34 +/- acres, consisting of two densely wooded parcels and a third gulf-front parcel that spans from the toe of the dune to the mean high-water line of the Gulf of Mexico. Proposed development consists of a 1,000 SF Restroom Facility, 23 parking spaces, bicycle parking, site lighting, stormwater facilities, ADA dune walkover, and connectivity to the multi-use path. The last date to submit questions is January 29th, 2024, no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to waljames@co.walton.fl.us. DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered. Each Bid must be submitted digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER BID on the prescribed bid form and accompanied by bid security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, on the prescribed form, payable to the Walton County Board of County Commissioners.
