Renovation of a swimming pool in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a swimming pool.

As of February 23, 2024, project was awarded to American Pools, awarded amount is $94,795.99. Lower Makefield Township will utilize electronic bidding to receive sealed bids for the 2024 Pool Painting Project. All questions during the bidding period must be submitted through PennBid. Answers to any questions received during the bidding period will be distributed to all bidders through PennBid. Any questions received by means other than through PennBid will not be answered. PennBid will assess only bidders who are awarded a contract a fee of 1/3% (0.0033) of the contract value. There is a minimum award fee of $100 and a maximum of $5,000. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price shall be submitted with the bid. A performance bond of one-hundred percent (100%) shall be submitted within ten (10) days from the date a bid has been accepted. This project is subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the prevailing wage rates are incorporated in the bid documents. Lower Makefield Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept either in whole or in part any one bid or combination of bids and to accept the bid which it determines in its best interests.
