1. Overview: The City of Clovis is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the purchase, configuration, delivery, and installation of a three phase, continuous duty, solid state Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System to be used within the City of Clovis Public Safety Headquarters Building. The UPS System shall ensure continuity of electric power upon failure or deterioration of the normal power supply and should do so within specified tolerances and without interruption. Qualified vendors are those businesses that can deliver the UPS SYSTEM within an acceptable time period, upon receipt of a letter of proposal acceptance from the City of Clovis. 3.1 Scope of Work: The main purpose of this Scope of Work is to capture the nature and scope of the Project, rather than to be precise in all its details. The work to be done consists, in general, of removing the existing UPS system, its components and related equipment from Room P109 and installing the proposed Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System, batteries and other items. All related electrical work, conduits, wiring, circuit breakers and modifications to the existing equipment required to perform the work properly, for a complete and turnkey system shall be included in the proposal. All proposals submitted for consideration shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days following the proposal due date.
