Reference Number 0000340579 Job Location City of Woodland Park Interlocking Concrete Paver Road Repair Scope of Work This work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials and equipment to replace interlocking concrete pavers on the following existing City Streets: -Spacious Skies Dr -Regal Way -Thunder Ridge Dr This work shall consist of Demolition, removal, loading, haul, and disposal of existing Pavers, replacement/rehabilitation ofsubgrade and roadbase material, removal of tree roots within the top 6" of the subgrade, and preparing and compacting the subgrade and installing new pavers. 1. Removal of Existing Broken Pavers The areas to be repaired/replaced shall be cut out and removed leaving neat straight edges. All removed material shall become the property of the Contractor and shall be disposed of properly. Prior to removal the City will mark out the limits of the patch; the Contractor shall remove only the marked area. The City will not pay for any additional removal, and the Contractor shall correct any such removal at the Contractor's expense. 2. Acceptable Methods of Replacment and Repair Acceptable methods for the installation of Paver replacment and repairshall include, but not be limited to, the use of hand setting, to uniformly set the paver materials. The subgrade and edges of the area to be repaired/replaced shall be adequately prepared and stabalized to City of Wodland Park specifications prior to install. Compaction of the pavers shall be completed in uniformly conform to the City of Woodland Park Design and Construction Standards of the ASCE. 3. Method of Measurement and Payment Payment will be made on field measured installed square yard basis for Pavers, except that the area will be marked and measured prior to construction. Payment shall be made for removing existing Pavers, subgrade and roadbase material, preparing subgrade and replacing Pavers. Paver patching and shall be full compensation for all work necessary to complete the item. 4. Methods of Traffic Control In accordance with CDOT, Subsection 630.09 through Subsection 630.13, Construction Zone Traffic Control - Construction Requirements, except as modified herein.
