Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Burlington, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes furnishing of all materials and equipment and performance of the following work, according to the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents (PS & CD). The Base Bid work for the above contract includes removal and replacement of sidewalk in the respective locations throughout the City of Burlington. Major items of work and approximate quantities for which bids are requested include: 4900 SF Concrete Sidewalk 4-Inch, 390 SF Concrete Sidewalk 6-Inch, and 20 SY Asphalt Patching. These qualification forms, and prequalification forms, will be reviewed; however, updated proof of qualification may be requested by the Owner prior to acceptance of any Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder who has been determined to be unqualified. All Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, bank money order, or a qualified certified check, payable to the Owner, in the amount equal to five percent of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the Owner accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreement and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award by the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
