Slip No. 2 Trench Drain The bidding contractor must demonstrate experience in working within high-traffic areas, employing maintenance of traffic protocols, safety barriers, and maneuvering in confined spaces. The project entails the construction of heavy-duty concrete trench drain repairs, including mobilization and installation of site barricades and safety devices, saw cutting pavement and trench drains to facilitate partial demolition of existing structures as needed for repair; backfilling, compaction, and site preparation for new repair elements; forming, pouring, steel fabrication/installation, and reinforcement installation for new concrete in the designated trench drain section; concrete curing; reinstallation of trench grates; and site cleanup and demobilization. The Port shall use its best efforts to ensure that Minority/Women Businesses Enterprises have an equitable opportunity to participate in the Ports procurement process.
