Renovation of a residential development in Aynor, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Qualified and licensed contractors for the rehabilitation of a single family home located 3591 Bakers Chapel Rd. Aynor, SC . The term of this contract shall be Sixty (60) calendar days with the effective date the date of the Homeowner's signature. The successful bidder will be expected to execute and abide by the Sample Contract Agreement in Attachment A. Horry County, in accordance with the provisions of ALL TITLES of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252,42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. It is agreed and understood that it will be difficult and impossible to ascertain and determine the actual damage which the County will sustain in the event of, and by reason of, such delay. It is therefore agreed that the contractor will pay to the County in liquidated damages the sum of $200.00 per day for each and every calendar day of delay beyond the time herein prescribed for finishing the work. In case same is not paid, the contractor agrees that the County may deduct the amount of liquidated damages from any money due or that becomes due the contractor under this contract.
