This Summary Notice and Notice of Intended Procurement is issued by the City of Saskatoon (the "City") for procurements covered by the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and/or the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement to provide summary information in relation to specific procurement, as detailed below. For the supply and delivery, including all labour, materials, supervision, vehicles, travel time, fuel and fuel surcharges, of various swimming pool chemicals as requested by the City of Saskatoon, Facilities Management Department. It is anticipated that the resulting contract will be awarded in March 2024. It is the City's intention to enter into a contract with one (1) or multiple legal entities. The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the City to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional one (1) year term upon the following conditions being met: a pricing structure must be mutually agreed upon for the renewal period; and a) the supplier must have performed satisfactorily as determined solely by the City; and b) the services are still required; and c) the services are still required to be outsourced; and d) budgetary funds must be available. The City also reserves the right to reissue solicitation documents for the work if there are substantive changes to the scope of work.
