**As of April 5, 2024, the project was awarded to McDaniel Construction for $36,088 .** Remove existing canopies and install three new ones at the Cherokee County Courthouse. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS 1. Contractor will provide all engineering and permits required for project. 2. Demo and remove existing canopy at the entrance of Family Court. 3. Extend height of existing curbs at entrance of Family Court by no less than 24in or 2ft. 4. Backfill behind curbing with dirt and grade so that water will drain from entrance into parking lot. 5. Install new commercial aluminum canopy, 14ft projection and 12ft wide. o Canopy is to be at least 9ft tall in height with two LED watertight lights. o Canopy is to be secured to the building structure and supported by at least (2) 6ft aluminum columns. o Canopy is to have a guttering system where water can be removed from the building and drained into parking lot. o Install (2) 6ft bollards in front of the canopy to protect the columns. Columns are to be black in color to match existing bollards. 6. Install (1) 5ft projection x 8ft wide canopy at the elevator entrance and (1) 5ft projection x 6ft wide canopy at the judges entrance. o Both canopies will be new commercial aluminum canopies. o Both canopies will be secured to the building structure and also supported by hanger rod supports and hardware. o Both canopies will have a guttering system that drains water from the building. 7. All canopies will match in design and color. Bidder will provide samples of design and colors for Cherokee County to choose from. Proposals shall be submitted on the form furnished and shall be submitted in a sealed envelope identifying the company name, the RFP title, the RFP number, and the RFP due date on the face of the envelope.
