Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Victoria, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of grading and surfacing (Concrete), cross road pipes, seeding, pavement markings from Old Hwy 40 to 6th Street, south of Victoria. Ellis County shall provide all of the funds required for this project. All Federal, State and County regulations must be complied with. All Bidders are to be prequalified with the Kansas Department of Transportation, as outlined in Section 102 of the KDOT Standard Specifications. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified or Cashiers check in the amount of 5% of the total bid. Checks or bonds are to be made payable to Ellis County and serve as a guarantee of the sincerity and integrity of the bidder, and shall be forfeited to the County if said proposal or bid is accepted and the bidder fails to execute the contract and file the required statutory and performance bonds as required in the contract documents. Work will commence no sooner than the date of the Notice to Proceed (earliest start date) and no later than July 8, 2024 (late start date). All work shall be completed within 85 working days Ellis County reserves the right to waive any and all technicalities and to reject any and all bids.
