Renovation of a detention facility in Marysville, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

**As of March 7, 2024 project was awarded but awarded amount is not available.** This project may require multiple mobilizations, based on the locations of the units. Mobilization can occur in the Courthouse basement, or lawn area on the north/northeast area of the property; adjacent to the basement driveway. Once mobilized, Contractor shall safe-off each unit, drain each system, disconnect, and remove each unit. Removal and replacement of exhaust fans and motors shall be in sequential order to avoid disruption to Courthouse-Jail daily operations. Contractor may elect removal and replacement in a fashion other than sequential, so long as down-time is minimized. Recommended removal and replacement of all units shall be reflected in the project schedule. County assumes disconnects can be reused; however, given the age of this equipment, County requests additional cost to replace these disconnects, as reflected in the cost proposal provided in this RFP. Please see section 3.0. Construction Requirements for further specifications Funding for this project is budgeted for fiscal year 2023-2024; work to be completed before June 30, 2024. Primary season for this project is during cooler months; March through May. Please see section 2.6 for project schedule requirements and details Bonds. In proposal submission, Contractor must provide proof of ability to provide a performance bond and payment bond, pursuant to CIV 9550 and PCC 10221 respectively, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of total project cost. Prior to award of the contract, the Contractor must submit the performance and payment bonds, in the form of a bond and not a deposit in lieu of a bond.
