As of March 22, 2024 project has been awarded with the following deatils: Choptank Elementary School - $218,610, Maple Elementary School - $319,371 , and Sandy Hill Elementary School- $318,638 for a total of $856,619.00. Pre-qualification statements are required and must be submitted on or before the proposal date to Mr. Chris Hauge, School Facilities Engineer, Board of Education for Dorchester County, 700 Glasgow Street, Cambridge, MD 21613. Certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to participate in this procurement. The contractor or supplier who provides materials, supplies, equipment and/or services for this construction project shall attempt to achieve the specific overall MBE goal of ten (10) percent established for this project The Dorchester County Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informality in, or to reject any or all proposals. Event Bid description: Bids for each school shall be submitted in duplicate and in sealed envelopes bearing the name of the Bidder and the project that they are bidding on, and to the attention of Chris Hauge, School Facilities Engineer. If submitting electronically, bids along with required attachments, to be combined into one (1) PDF document (for each school) and submitted electronically to Chris Hauge at haugec@dcpsmd.org.
