Description

Site work for a civil project in Lacey, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

This project includes the removal and lowering of an existing dam, plugging the outlet culvert and creating a new channel and culvert crossing. The dam removal requires channel excavation upstream and large woody debris placement to stabilize the creek. The new culvert and outlet channel are tidal and requires an extensive dewatering plan to isolate the work area from the stream and tidal waters. The site has buried power, cable and a water line which need to be temporarily relocated by the Utility Company and the utilities buried in the fill for the new' culvert. SPSSEG will be responsible for obtaining environmental permits; the contractor must, comply with all permit requirements.
