Description

Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Santa Cruz, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 30,476-square-foot, two-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The project involves interior tenant improvements to an existing office building. The scope of work includes construction of new conference rooms, family rooms, therapy rooms, exam rooms, residential rooms, elevator, kitchen, lobbies and interior circulation, nurse's stations, restrooms, and office support spaces. Minor exterior work includes reconfiguring balconies and windows. This project is located at 5300 Soquel Avenue, Santa Cruz, CA 95062. There are 250 working days in this contract. Question Submission Deadline: February 21, 2024, 4:00pm Any questions concerning the bid process, required submittals, evaluation criteria, bid schedule, and selection process should be sent through the online e-Procurement Portal . Contractor Selection Date: June 4, 2024 Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier's check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10%of the total bid price, payable to Santa Cruz County, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.
