Renovation of an educational facility in Santa Cruz, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Questions regarding the RFQ, or the Projects, may be addressed to Al Jimenez, (831) 854-3588 or frajimen@ucsc.edu Provide full design for the proposed Life Safety Modernization - Fire Alarm Modernization at UCSC. This project will replace the existing panels and end devices with newer technology that would allow for a quicker emergency response time. This project would install new Siemens XLS panels and end devices in the following buildings. Currently, funds are available for the design phase for the following buildings: Jack Baskin Engineering Building Jack Baskin Auditorium Engineering 2 Building The University reserves the right to request, receive, and evaluate supplemental information after the above time and date at its sole determination. The total project budget, design, and construction is currently set at $2 million. Completion of the project, design, and construction is scheduled for. November of 2025. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. RFI Due: February 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
