Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Orders No. 11246 and No. 11375, which pertain to nondiscrimination in employment. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these orders are explained in the Bidding and Contract Documents. Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation for Bids are expected to be funded in part by a grant from the NYS Office of Community Renewal under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program awarded to the State by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is or will be a party to this Invitation for Bids or any resulting contract. This procurement will be subject to regulations contained in 2 CFR Part 200 and 24 CFR Part 570, as applicable to this CDBG-funded project. The City of Rensselaer reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation.
