Question Deadline 08/15/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes If the Bidder is awarded the Contract but fails to complete the work within the Contract time limit set forth above, or as it may be extended as provided in the Contract Documents, Bidder agrees to pay liquidated damages to the City at the rate of five hundred ($500) per each calendar day until the work is satisfactorily completed. A certified check or corporate surety bond of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid for the total cost of the project must accompany each proposal. Bidders' attention is directed to the Special Provisions of the Contract Documents which require the Contractor, to whom the contract for the work is awarded, to file with the City Clerk at the time of executing said contract, a Payment Bond and Performance Bond, in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, meeting all requirements of said Contract Documents and approved by the City Attorney.
