Renovation of a municipal facility in Millbrae, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
*As of April 24, 2025, the awarded General Contractor is still currently waiting for the "NTP" from the owner, which they are anticipating to receive in about a month or two. When they receive the "NTP", a long preconstrcution process will follow. Although not yet firm, the GC is looking at a construction start sometime in the 2nd Quarter of next year, 2026. San Francisco Public Utilities Commission ("SFPUC") announces a Request for Proposals ("RFP") for pre-qualified contractors to provide pre-construction services, construction management, and construction services for Millbrae Campus Improvements ("MCI" or "Project") using the Construction Manager / General Contractor project delivery method. Estimated Direct Costs of Construction is $235,000,000. Written questions regarding the RFP must be directed to qbd@sfwater.org no later than 4:00 P.M. on Monday, October 7, 2024. Question Deadline 10/07/2024 at 4:00 PM PT Pursuant to San Francisco Charter Section 3.105, all contract awards are subject to certification by the Controller as to the availability of funds. For this project, as set forth in detail in the contract, the SFPUC will issue purchase orders incrementally as needed to fund project work over the duration of the project, which serves the functions of Controller certification and encumbrance of project funds available for payments.
