Scope of Work for the SEPARATE PRIME CONTRACTS; General Construction, Mechanical Construction, Plumbing Construction and Electrical Construction. Base Bid work includes, but not limited to the following: A new pre-engineered metal building with garage bays, office areas, restrooms, and a storage mezzanine. There will be a perimeter fence installed that will fall under the General Construction contract. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept and/or reject all or any submitted bids as a complete bid package or as individual bids. Proposals shall be irrevocable for (90) days after bid opening, in compliance with Act #317 of 1978, approved November 26, 1978, and as amended, and shall be accompanied by 10% bid bond or certified check, payable to Monroe Township. This project is subject to applicable provisions of the following, including any amendments and supplements: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987; Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955, P.L. 744; Pennsylvania Public Works Contractor's Bond Law of December 20, 1967, P.L. 869, no. 385, Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act No. 3 of 1978 as amended. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond for 100% of the project sum will be required.
