All responses to questions regarding this RFP will be posted on our website January 12, 2024 at or before 4:00 p.m. It is the responsibility of the prospective Responder to check the website The Foresthill Union School District is soliciting quotes for cabling infrastructure. The project consists of cabling the site with single mode fiber (or equivalent). The project also includes cabling the school from IDFs with a combination of four CAT6 and one CAT6A to each classroom space Wireless Access Point. The District is requiring that the entire project be completed by July 1, 2024. There will be approximately 600 feet of single mode fiber from the MDF to IDF’s and approximately 10,500 feet of CAT 6 and CAT6A cabling from IDF’s to Wireless Access Points. Equipment such as but not limited to, Fiber pigtails, LIUs, patch cords and J-hook supports will be required. The project will include removing all existing wiring when necessary. Removal of any existing multimode fiber. All patch panels and drops labeled accordingly and all runs tested and certified. The vendors are encouraged to attend the scheduled walk- through to see specific cabling areas.
