Rehab Natural Sciences Building Phase 1 The work of this single bid project is a phased lab renovation of the Natural Science Building at Old Westbury. This includes the construction of teaching labs, collaboration spaces, greenhouse, computer lab / multipurpose space and associated support spaces. This also includes the complete replacement of major MEP and technology syst, a geothermal wellfield & power dist. center, and recladding of the North and East side of the NSB and penthouse. The Project also includes a modular teaching lab building and modular vivarium building to house students and animals during the renovation to the NSB. Ancillary work includes a new generator at the Clark Center and relocation of an EPR and NMR to a new location. All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 9/13 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
