June 2024: MMC posted construction updates, including the use of locally prefabricated walls for the project. August 2025: The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved the new facility for operation. Last Frontier Healthcare District Dba ("Modoc Medical Center"), Has Issued A Request For Bids (Rfb) For A Site Work Contractor In Connection With The Design And Construction Of A Skilled Nursing Facility (Snf) Located In Alturas, California. Responses To The RFP Will Be Utilized To Select A Firm To Construct The Site Work Improvements Associated With The Snf.
